My good friend Hutch has officially proclaimed himself my "source for all sorts of cool random crap" and with what he just sent me I think I have to completely agree.
Download the most recent version of Google Earth and hit ctrl-alt-a. The flight sim is garbage as far as controls or features but it sure is cool to have that level of detail to fly over. It's definitely a big step up from the old days of looking down at polygon scenery below.
