The Google Juggernaut rolls on

I can't remember whether I had actually blogged about 30boxes.com or whether I had just intended to. It's a great site, although I don't really feel I ever used it to its full potential. Regardless, today's announcement from Google has, in one heartbeat, made me give up 30boxes in favor of Google Calendar. It functions so similarly to 30boxes you almost wonder if there's a lawsuit on the way. But the determining factor for me is that GC is integrated with Gmail -- and that's what is going to make me actually use it, as opposed to just being impressed with it and never putting it to work for me.

Chalk up another success for Google...

Wow, didn't expect to get a direct response! Like I said, I think 30boxes is an *excellent* site -- well conceived, well laid out, and very easy to use. But in looking through google calendar, I don't see *any* features that I would be giving up in making the transition... so being able to click through directly from gmail is the distinguishing factor, I guess.
